If you are convicted of a second DUI, six demerit points will be added to your driving record, your license will be revoked for an additional three years, you will be fined $500–$2,500, and you will be sentenced to jail for between ten days and twelve months. Operators of bicycles, mopeds, and motorcycles have the same rights and responsibilities as car drivers; the same right-of-way rules apply. Therefore, before you turn left, check carefully for less visible vehicles such as motorcycles, bicycles, and mopeds and yield to them if necessary.

Among these are driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol or drugs, leaving the scene of an accident without stopping (hit and run), making a false statement to the DMV, and a drug offense whether or not a motor vehicle was involved.
